French Silk Chocolate Frosting

Total Time: 15 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • 1/4 lb butter
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2 unsweetened chocolate squares, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 eggs

Recipe

  • 1 cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  • 2 add melted chocolate and vanilla.
  • 3 beat until smooth.
  • 4 add eggs, one at a time, beating for 5 minutes after each.
  • 5 chill before spreading on cake.
  • 6 we use this on duncan hines chocolate pudding cake mix, but any cake will do.
