Low-fat Rice Pudding

Total Time: 1 hr 10 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 1 hr

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 1 cup medium grain rice
  • 2 liters 1% low-fat milk
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla

Recipe

  • 1 combine milk and rice in a large pot.
  • 2 turn on medium burner.
  • 3 cook for 1 hour.
  • 4 when its 2/3 to 3/4 done, add sugar.
  • 5 after it has cooked for 1 hour, add vanilla.
  • 6 while cooking, stir occasionally, especially towards the end.
  • 7 all done!
  • 8 note: i sprinkle a small amount of sugar into the milk and rice.
