Milk Chocolate Pudding

Ingredients

- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 1/2 ounces semisweet chocolate, chopped
- 2 cups low-fat milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 large egg (lightly beaten)
- 1/2 cup almonds
Recipe
- 1 add the sugar and cornstarch in a saucepan; gradually adding the milk, stirring with whish or hand beater until well blended.
- 2 stir in chocolate.
- 3 bring to a boil over medium high heat; cook at least 7 minutes, stirring rapidly.
- 4 gradually add hot milk mixture to the egg, using a whisk.
- 5 return the milk mixture to the pan and cook until thick and bubbly.
- 6 remove from heat, stir in vanilla.
- 7 spoon into bowl.
- 8 add a couple of almonds on top.
- 9 either eat it after it cools or place plastic wrap over the top of it and place it into the refrigerator.
