- 2 cups cooked rice
- 2 cups milk
- 1/4 cup sugar, plus
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Recipe
- 1 combine rice, milk, sugar, butter, and salt in a medium saucepan. cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, 35 minutes or until thickened. remove from heat; stir in vanilla.
- 2 spoon into individual serving dishes. serve hot or cold.
