Peaches And Cream Dessert

Total Time: 12 hrs Preparation Time: 12 hrs

Ingredients

  • Servings: 12
  • 1 1/2 cups vanilla wafers, about 38, made into crumbs
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1/2 lb marshmallows, about 44
  • 2 tablespoons orange juice
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 1/2 cups peaches, chopped fresh
  • 1 cup whipping cream, beaten stiff

Recipe

  • 1 mix vanilla wafer crumbs with melted butter.
  • 2 pat half of this mixture into a 9x9 cake pan.
  • 3 heat marshmallows; add orange juice and lemon juice.
  • 4 heat over low heat (double boiler would be best) until partially thickened.
  • 5 fold in peaches and cook a while longer; cool.
  • 6 fold in whipped cream; pour over wafers.
  • 7 sprinkle reserved crumbs over top.
  • 8 chill.
