Peaches And Cream Dessert

Ingredients
- Servings: 12
- 1 1/2 cups vanilla wafers, about 38, made into crumbs
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1/2 lb marshmallows, about 44
- 2 tablespoons orange juice
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 1/2 cups peaches, chopped fresh
- 1 cup whipping cream, beaten stiff
Recipe
- 1 mix vanilla wafer crumbs with melted butter.
- 2 pat half of this mixture into a 9x9 cake pan.
- 3 heat marshmallows; add orange juice and lemon juice.
- 4 heat over low heat (double boiler would be best) until partially thickened.
- 5 fold in peaches and cook a while longer; cool.
- 6 fold in whipped cream; pour over wafers.
- 7 sprinkle reserved crumbs over top.
- 8 chill.
