Hasty Pudding

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 cup self raising flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup sultana (golden raisins)
  • 1/2 cup milk (use low fat if you wish)
  • 2 tablespoons butter or 2 tablespoons margarine
  • 2 tablespoons golden syrup
  • 2 cups boiling water

Recipe

  • 1 mix together the first 3 ingredients in a medium casserole dish. add the milk and stir until blended.
  • 2 stir the butter, syrup and water together and pour over.
  • 3 bake at 180c (350f) for 30-40 minutes.
  • 4 serve with cream or icecream.
