Ingredients

• 6 tablespoons granulated sugar
• 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa
• 1/4 cup cornstarch
• 1/8 teaspoon salt
• 1 1/2 cups evaporated milk
• 1/2 cup water
• 1 tablespoon butter or 1 tablespoon margarine
• 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Recipe

• 1 combine sugar, cocoa, cornstarch and salt in a medium saucepan.
• 2 add evaporated milk and water; whisk to blend.
• 3 cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, for about 7 minutes or until pudding thickens (do not boil).
• 4 remove from heat; stir in butter and vanilla extract.
• 5 serve warm or cold.
