Lemon Pudding Dessert

Ingredients

- 1 cup cold butter or 1 cup margarine
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup confectioners' sugar
- 1 (8 ounce) carton frozen whipped topping, thawed, divided
- 3 cups cold milk
- 2 (3 1/2 ounce) packages instant lemon pudding mix
Recipe
- 1 in a bowl, cut butter into the flour until crumbly.
- 2 press into an ungreased 13" x 9" x 2" baking pan.
- 3 bake at 350 degrees for 18-22 minutes or until set.
- 4 cool on a wire rack.
- 5 in another mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
- 6 fold in 1 cup whipped topping.
- 7 spread over crust.
- 8 in a third bowl, beat milk and pudding mix on low speed for 2 minutes.
- 9 carefully spread over cream cheese layer.
- 10 top with remaining whipped topping.
- 11 refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
