Lemon Pudding Dessert

Total Time: 1 hr Cook Time: 1 hr

Ingredients

  • Servings: 12
  • 1 cup cold butter or 1 cup margarine
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup confectioners' sugar
  • 1 (8 ounce) carton frozen whipped topping, thawed, divided
  • 3 cups cold milk
  • 2 (3 1/2 ounce) packages instant lemon pudding mix

Recipe

  • 1 in a bowl, cut butter into the flour until crumbly.
  • 2 press into an ungreased 13" x 9" x 2" baking pan.
  • 3 bake at 350 degrees for 18-22 minutes or until set.
  • 4 cool on a wire rack.
  • 5 in another mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
  • 6 fold in 1 cup whipped topping.
  • 7 spread over crust.
  • 8 in a third bowl, beat milk and pudding mix on low speed for 2 minutes.
  • 9 carefully spread over cream cheese layer.
  • 10 top with remaining whipped topping.
  • 11 refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
