Nanna's Apple Pudding

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 35 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 4 cooking apples
  • 3/4 cup caster sugar
  • 2 tablespoons self raising flour
  • 1 cup cold water
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 pinch salt

Recipe

  • 1 grease a pie dish.
  • 2 preheat oven
  • 3 peel, core and halve apples across ways (so that they are circles of apple).
  • 4 put apples cust side up in dish.
  • 5 in seporate bowl rub butter into flour
  • 6 add sugar and salt to this mixture then water.
  • 7 mix lightly (it will be lumpy - thats ok!).
  • 8 then pour over apples.
  • 9 bake 35 minutes in a 180oc oven.
  • 10 *for 6 apples double the liquid and sugar becomes 1 1/4 cup.
