Nanna's Apple Pudding

Ingredients

- 4 cooking apples
- 3/4 cup caster sugar
- 2 tablespoons self raising flour
- 1 cup cold water
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 pinch salt
Recipe
- 1 grease a pie dish.
- 2 preheat oven
- 3 peel, core and halve apples across ways (so that they are circles of apple).
- 4 put apples cust side up in dish.
- 5 in seporate bowl rub butter into flour
- 6 add sugar and salt to this mixture then water.
- 7 mix lightly (it will be lumpy - thats ok!).
- 8 then pour over apples.
- 9 bake 35 minutes in a 180oc oven.
- 10 *for 6 apples double the liquid and sugar becomes 1 1/4 cup.
