Grammy Billings Steamed Christmas Pudding With Sherry Sauce

Ingredients

  • 3 cups raisins
  • 1 cup suet (packed)
  • 1 cup molasses
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon clove
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon allspice
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup soft butter (a must)
  • 2 beaten eggs
  • 3 -5 tablespoons sherry wine

Recipe

  • 1 christmas pudding:.
  • 2 mix all ingredients for the christmas pudding together well.
  • 3 put into 1-pound coffee cans or other cans that have been greased.
