Ingredients

- 2 ounces butter
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 cup self raising flour
- 4 teaspoons cocoa
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla essence
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 4 teaspoons cocoa
- 2 cups hot boiled water
Recipe
- 1 cream butter and sugar (just using wooden spoon).
- 2 add egg.
- 3 mix well.
- 4 fold in sifted flour and cocoa alternately with milk and vanilla/.
- 5 top with mixed cocoa and sugar.
- 6 gently pour hot water over ingredients.
- 7 bake in moderate oven for 30-40 minutes.
