• 1 cup milk
• 1 cup flour
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 1 cup dates, chopped
• 1 cup walnuts, chopped
• 1 cup brown sugar, packed
• 1/2 cup margarine
• 1 large egg
• 1 cup water
• 1 tablespoon cornstarch

Recipe

• 1 mix cake ingredients well and bake in a greased 13x9 baking pan.at 350* for 35 minutes.
• 2 combine all sauce ingredients in a saucepan and cook till thick.and pour over slightly cooled cake.
