- 3 large eggs

- 4 tablespoons lemon juice
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1 grated lemon, rind of
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Recipe
- 1 beat eggs till light.add sugar with lemon juice and grated lemon peel.
- 2 combine in a saucepan with butter and salt.
- 3 cook, stirring constantly until thickened, to a pudding consistency.
- 4 let cool and spread on cake.
