Key Lime Cake

Ingredients

- 1 box lemon cake mix
- 1 (3 1/2 ounce) package instant lemon pudding
- 1 cup egg substitute
- 1 cup applesauce
- 3/4 cup water
- 1/4 cup key lime juice
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tablespoon water
- 1/4 cup key lime juice
Recipe
- 1 for the cake: preheat oven to 350 degrees and prepare a 10" bundt pan with non stick cooking spray.
- 2 for the cake, combine all ingredients in a large mixing bowl.
- 3 beat at meedium speed for 2 minutes.
- 4 pour into prepared pan and bake for 50-60 minutes (toothpick should come out clean).
- 5 cool in pan for 25 minutes.
- 6 poke hole into top of cake with a long tined fork.
- 7 for the glaze: combine all glaze ingredients and mix well with whisk.
- 8 pour over warm cake.
- 9 cool completely.
- 10 invert onto serving plate and dust with powdered sugar.
