Ingrid's Apple Cottage Pudding

Ingredients
- Servings: 12
- 3 -5 cups apples, peeled and diced
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 3/4 cups flour
- 1 1/4 cups sugar ( or brown)
- 2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/3 cup butter (soft)
- 2/3 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 1/3 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven at 375°f.
- 2 layer apples in a greased pan (9x13).
- 3 combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
- 4 mix soft butter and milk. add to dry ingredients. combine well.
- 5 mix egg, milk and vanilla. add to batter mixture and combine well.
- 6 pour batter over apples.
- 7 bake for 25 minutes.
