Ingrid's Apple Cottage Pudding

Total Time: 45 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 25 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 12
  • 3 -5 cups apples, peeled and diced
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 3/4 cups flour
  • 1 1/4 cups sugar ( or brown)
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/3 cup butter (soft)
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven at 375°f.
  • 2 layer apples in a greased pan (9x13).
  • 3 combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
  • 4 mix soft butter and milk. add to dry ingredients. combine well.
  • 5 mix egg, milk and vanilla. add to batter mixture and combine well.
  • 6 pour batter over apples.
  • 7 bake for 25 minutes.
