Doughnut Pudding

Total Time: 2 hrs 20 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 2 hrs

Ingredients

  • Servings: 20
  • 20 stale plain doughnuts, coarsely chopped
  • 1 quart milk
  • 12 eggs, beaten lightly
  • 2 cups sugar, plus
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 2 tablespoons vanilla
  • 4 ounces butter
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon

Recipe

  • 1 combine eggs and milk.
  • 2 add doughnuts, sugar, raisins, and vanilla.
  • 3 stir gently until just mixed.
  • 4 pour into two 9 x 13 inch pans.
  • 5 dot with slices of butter.
  • 6 sprinkle with combined tablespoons of sugar and cinnamon.
  • 7 cover with foil and bake at 350 for 1 hour.
  • 8 uncover, bake 45 minutes to 1 hour until set.
