Plum Sponge Pudding

Total Time: 1 hr 15 mins Preparation Time: 25 mins Cook Time: 50 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1 cup self raising flour
  • 3/4 cup custard powder
  • 1 cup caster sugar
  • 125 g butter
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 825 g plums, drained

Recipe

  • 1 pre heat oven 180 c.
  • 2 lightly grease 6 cup ovenproof dish.
  • 3 place flour, custard powder, sugar,butter,milk,eggs and vanilla into food processor.
  • 4 process till mixture is creamy.
  • 5 place drained plums in base of dish.
  • 6 pour batter over fruit.
  • 7 bake 50 minutes until skewer comes out clean.
  • 8 serve warm with cream or ice cream.
