Honey Custard

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 4 tablespoons honey
  • 2 cups milk
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 dash cinnamon (optional) or 1 dash nutmeg (optional)

Recipe

  • 1 heat honey and milk in double boiler.
  • 2 beat eggs and salt until thick.
  • 3 add hot milk to yolks and return to boiler to finish cooking.
  • 4 when mixture coats silver spoon, remove from heat.
  • 5 add vanilla and spices if desired.
  • 6 chill before serving.
