Manx Potato And Treacle Pudding

Total Time: 3 hrs 5 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 3 hrs

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 250 g mashed potatoes
  • 125 g flour
  • 90 g butter
  • 60 g breadcrumbs, fresh
  • 1/4 cup treacle
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

Recipe

  • 1 mix together the flour, breadcrumbs, butter and baking soda. mix in the potatoes and syrup and a little milk.
  • 2 pour into a greased pudding basin, cover with greaseproof paper and steam for 3 hours.
  • 3 serve with cream or thin custard.
