Italian Rum Raisin Bread Pudding

Total Time: 2 hrs 20 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 2 hrs

Ingredients

  • Servings: 24
  • 1 1/2 loafs egg bread
  • 12 ounces sugar
  • 1/2 quart heavy cream
  • 16 ounces raisins
  • 12 egg yolks
  • 4 ounces tuaca liqueur
  • 4 ounces banana liqueur
  • 8 ounces brown sugar

Recipe

  • 1 mix sugar and eggs.
  • 2 add heavy cream, raisins, tuaca, banana liqueur and add to 1 1/2 loafs of egg bread cut into 1" cubes.
  • 3 gently mix.
  • 4 place mixture in buttered pan.
  • 5 cover with brown sugar.
  • 6 bake for 2 hours at 300°f.
  • 7 this will make a lot so you may want to half the recipe. make sure to cut the bread in small pieces and stir well to coat all the bread.
