Chocolate Date Pudding

Ingredients
- Servings: 6
- 125 g chocolate, broken up
- 1 1/4 ground almonds
- 3/4 cup pitted dates, chopped
- 4 egg whites
- 3/4 cup sugar
Recipe
- 1 melt chocolate in a bowl over a pot of simmering water then cool.
- 2 combine almonds and dates, set aside.
- 3 beat egg whites till soft peaks form, gradually add sugar, beat till thick and glossy.
- 4 lightly fold chocolate and date mixture through egg whites.
- 5 pour into greased, lined 23 cm spring form pan.
- 6 bake 180 c for 45 minutes or till skewer inserted in middle comes out clean and dry.
