Ingredients

- 1 tablespoon soft butter
- 110 g sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 cup self raising flour
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2/3 cup apricot jam
Recipe
- 1 cream butter and sugar.
- 2 add egg, beat well, stir in flour and milk.
- 3 mix well.
- 4 grease pudding basin [4 cup capacity].
- 5 line thickly with jam.
- 6 pour in batter, cover basin with baking paper and foil.
- 7 tie with piece of string.
- 8 steam for 1 1/2 hours.
- 9 stand for 5 minutes before turning out onto serving plate.
