My Grandpa's Chocolate Dessert

Ingredients

• Servings: 10
• 10 ounces chocolate chips
• 4 egg yolks
• 8 ounces dream whip
• 42 vanilla wafers
• 4 egg whites
• 1/2 cup sugar

Recipe

• 1 melt chocolate chips in double boiler or use microwave.
• 2 remove from heat.
• 3 add egg yolks two at a time, and stir well.
• 4 in a bowl, beat egg whites with 1/2 c sugar until very stiff.
• 5 add egg whites to dream whip.
• 6 in a deep glass bowl, begin with a layer of vanilla wafers.
• 7 top with chocolate.
• 8 continue layering wafers and chocolate, ending with cookies on top.
• 9 refrigerate until serving time.
