Christmas Pudding

Total Time: 1 hr 5 mins Preparation Time: 30 mins Cook Time: 35 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 6 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 1/2 teaspoon butter

Recipe

  • 1 in a bowl, make a smooth paste of the cocoa powder with a little milk.
  • 2 mix it with the remaining milk.
  • 3 whisk the eggs, one at a time.
  • 4 add all the ingredients except butter.
  • 5 grease a pudding mould with butter and pour the mixture into it.
  • 6 cover.
  • 7 keep this mould in a bigger vessel of boiling water.
  • 8 cover with a lid and cook.
  • 9 turn the prepared pudding onto a dish.
  • 10 garnish as desired, eg: sliced kiwi fruits make a nice garnish.
