Peanut Parfait Dessert

Total Time: 45 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 25 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 16
  • 4 ounces unsweetened chocolate (100 grams)
  • 2/3 cup shortening
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 1/4 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 (12 ounce) package chocolate chips
  • 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
  • 3/4 cup peanut butter
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 2 1/2 cups milk
  • 1 (8 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
  • 1 package vanilla instant pudding mix (6-serving size)
  • chopped peanuts, if desired (to garnish)
  • grated milk chocolate, if desired (to garnish)

Recipe

  • 1 to make the base:.
  • 2 melt chocolate and shortening.
  • 3 stir in sugar with whisk until blended.
  • 4 (mixture will be dry).
  • 5 add eggs, beating well.
  • 6 stir in dry ingredients.
  • 7 finally, add the chocolate chips.
  • 8 spread in greased 13x9" pan.
  • 9 bake 25 minutes, or until set.
