Peanut Parfait Dessert

Ingredients

- 4 ounces unsweetened chocolate (100 grams)
- 2/3 cup shortening
- 2 cups sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1 1/4 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 (12 ounce) package chocolate chips
- 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
- 3/4 cup peanut butter
- 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
- 2 1/2 cups milk
- 1 (8 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
- 1 package vanilla instant pudding mix (6-serving size)
- chopped peanuts, if desired (to garnish)
- grated milk chocolate, if desired (to garnish)
Recipe
- 1 to make the base:.
- 2 melt chocolate and shortening.
- 3 stir in sugar with whisk until blended.
- 4 (mixture will be dry).
- 5 add eggs, beating well.
- 6 stir in dry ingredients.
- 7 finally, add the chocolate chips.
- 8 spread in greased 13x9" pan.
- 9 bake 25 minutes, or until set.
