- 3/4 cup short-grain rice
- 1 (13 1/2 ounce) can evaporated milk (skim is fine, 385ml)
- 2 cups water
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 (3 inch) cinnamon sticks
Recipe
- 1 combine all ingredients in slow cooker; stir well.
- 2 cover and cook on low for 4 to 5 hours or on high for 2 to 2-1/2 hours.
- 3 stir twice during cooking period.
