Coconut Cream Custard

Total Time: 13 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 3 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup cornstarch
  • 2 cups milk
  • 14 ounces coconut milk
  • 6 egg yolks

Recipe

  • 1 whisk together in heavy saucepan.
  • 2 bring to a boil over medium heat, whisking costantly and boil 1 minute or till thick, keep whisking.
  • 3 remove from heat.
  • 4 place pan in ice water, whisking occasionally until cool.
  • 5 cover and chill at least 1 hour before using.
