Peanut Butter Pudding

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 1/2 cup half-and-half
- 3/4 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- whipped cream
- chocolate curls
Recipe
- 1 combine first 3 ingredients in a medium-size heavy saucepan; gradually whisk in milk and half-and-half.
- 2 bring to a boil over medium heat, whisking constantly.
- 3 boil, whisking constantly, 1 minute.
- 4 remove from heat (pudding will be thin).
- 5 add peanut butter and vanilla, whisking until smooth.
- 6 pour into a bowl; place plastic wrap directly over warm pudding.
- 7 chill 2 hours.
- 8 garnish, if desired.
