Jan's Nothing Pudding

Total Time: 15 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup hot water
  • 1 tablespoon gelatin

Recipe

  • 1 in a large bowl use an electric beater to beat the egg until frothy then slowly add in the sugar and finally the vanilla and beat until stiff.
  • 2 add the gelatin to the hot water and allow to dissolve, then add slowly to egg mixture.
  • 3 continue beating until very thick and stiff. this could take 5mins or more. add drops of food colouring while beating if desired.
  • 4 pour or spoon into a bowl to set.
  • 5 suggestion:.
  • 6 place in a glass bowl and place over a layer of either fresh or canned fruit.
  • 7 cover with a layer of whipped cream and sprinkle with grated chocolate.
