Honey Raisin Bread Pudding

Ingredients
- Servings: 8
- 3/4 cup raisins
- 1/2 cup honey
- 4 cups bread, cubes
- 1 quart whole milk
- 5 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 350 degrees f.
- 2 combine honey and bread cubes.
- 3 cook over low heat until honey is absorbed.
- 4 rinse raisins and drain.
- 5 blend milk, eggs, sugar, salt and vanilla.
- 6 add milk mixture and raisins to bread cubes.
- 7 mix well.
- 8 pour into buttered baking dish.
- 9 sprinkle with nutmeg.
- 10 place dish in pan of warm water.
- 11 bake one hour.
- 12 serve with whipped cream flavored with rum extract.
