Easy Chocolate Mousse

Total Time: 12 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 2 mins

Ingredients

  • 6 ounces chocolate chips, any will do (my favorite is dark chocolate)
  • 2 eggs (room temperature)
  • 3 tablespoons very hot coffee
  • 3/4 cup scalded milk (can use coffee creamer, 1/2 & 1/2, can milk)
  • 1 -2 tablespoon rum (optional) or 1 -2 tablespoon orange liqueur (optional) or 1 -2 tablespoon cherry flavored liqueur (optional) or 1 -2 tablespoon mint liqueur, etc (optional)

Recipe

  • 1 in blender, mix all ingredients on high speed for 2 minutes. pour into 4 dessert cups/dishes and chill until firm. garnish with whip cream, nuts, flaked coconut, etc.
