Chocolate Self-saucing Pudding

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 60 g butter
  • 1 1/2 cups self-raising flour
  • 1/2 cup caster sugar
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup cocoa powder, extra
  • 2 cups boiling water

Recipe

  • 1 place butter in a pyrex pudding bowl.
  • 2 melt for 45 seconds on high.
  • 3 stir in flour, sugar, cocoa, milk and vanilla.
  • 4 beat until smooth.
  • 5 combine brown sugar and extra cocoa.
  • 6 sprinkle over pudding mixture.
  • 7 pour boiling water over the mixture.
  • 8 cook for 12-13 minutes on medium.
  • 9 allow to stand for 5 minutes before serving.
  • 10 serve hot with ice cream.
