Chocolate Self-saucing Pudding

Ingredients

- 60 g butter
- 1 1/2 cups self-raising flour
- 1/2 cup caster sugar
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/3 cup cocoa powder, extra
- 2 cups boiling water
Recipe
- 1 place butter in a pyrex pudding bowl.
- 2 melt for 45 seconds on high.
- 3 stir in flour, sugar, cocoa, milk and vanilla.
- 4 beat until smooth.
- 5 combine brown sugar and extra cocoa.
- 6 sprinkle over pudding mixture.
- 7 pour boiling water over the mixture.
- 8 cook for 12-13 minutes on medium.
- 9 allow to stand for 5 minutes before serving.
- 10 serve hot with ice cream.
