Honey's Corn Pudding

Total Time: 1 hr 15 mins Preparation Time: 30 mins Cook Time: 45 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 3/4 cups milk
  • 3 cups corn, fresh or frozen
  • 3 eggs (beaten & frothy)

Recipe

  • 1 butter a casserole dish (i use a rectangular 1. 5 qt... round one works well, too).
  • 2 beat eggs until frothy and set aside.
  • 3 melt butter in saucepan.
  • 4 stir in flour, salt and sugar.
  • 5 cook until bubbly.
  • 6 add milk and cook until thick.
  • 7 stir in corn.
  • 8 stir in eggs that have been beaten.
  • 9 pour into well buttered casserole dish.
  • 10 bake in a hot water bath at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
  • 11 (sit the dish down into a larger pan or casserole dish that contains an inch of water).
