Festive Chocolate Mousse

Ingredients
- Servings: 6
- 180 g chocolate (see note)
- 30 g butter
- 2 tablespoons brandy (optional)
- 4 eggs, seperated
- 300 ml cream, whipped
Recipe
- 1 melt chocolate with butter.
- 2 add brandy and egg yolks, mix well and cool slightly.
- 3 fold chocolate mixture into whipped cream.
- 4 beat egg whites til soft peaks form.
- 5 fold lightly into chocolate mixture until well combined.
- 6 spoon into serving dishes.
- 7 chill until set.
- 8 note: or dark chocolate may be used. make a 1/2 quantity with chocolate and another 1/2 quantity with dark chocolate, stir them together for marbled effect.
