Cornbread Pudding

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1 cup plain flour
  • 1 cup self-rising cornmeal (either way)
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 1/2 cups water

Recipe

  • 1 mix dry ingredients together then add liquids. melt 1/4 cup crisco in 9 by 13 inch pan, (glass or metal) and pour mixture over top of very hot, melted crisco. don't over stir mixture.
  • 2 bake in 425 degree oven for approximately 30-40 minutes. (depending on oven).
  • 3 great just from the oven or cold.
