Chocolate Mousse

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 25 mins

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces semisweet chocolate
  • 3 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 3 tablespoons strong brewed coffee or 3 tablespoons cocoa
  • 2 -3 egg yolks
  • 1 1/4 cups whipping cream

Recipe

  • 1 melt chocolate in a double boiler or in a pan with hot water.
  • 2 add sugar, coffe/cocoa, and egg yolks, one at a time. stir until mixture has thickened. remove from heat. let cool.
  • 3 whip cream. add to slightly cooled mixture.
  • 4 spoon mousse into individual serving dishes. cover. let cool in refridgerator 1 hour.
  • 5 garnish each serving with a spoonful of whipped cream.
