Easy Pudding

Total Time: 15 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 1
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 3 1/2 tablespoons flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 egg yolks or 1 large egg, slightly beaten
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Recipe

  • 1 blend sugar, flour, and salt in a microwave safe bowl.
  • 2 gradually stir in milk.
  • 3 microwave on high 5 to 7 minutes.
  • 4 stir every 3 minutes until mixture is smooth and clear.
  • 5 temper egg then combine.
  • 6 microwave on high for 1 to 3 minutes.
  • 7 stir every minute till thickened.
  • 8 stir in butter and vanilla.
  • 9 pour into serving dishes.
  • 10 butterscotch pudding same as above except use brown sugar in place of sugar, and add 3 tbsp of butter instead of 2.
  • 11 cream of rice pudding same as above only use 2 1/2 cups of milk instead of 2, and stir in 2 cups of cooked rice.
