Easy Pudding

Ingredients

- 3/4 cup sugar
- 3 1/2 tablespoons flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups milk
- 2 egg yolks or 1 large egg, slightly beaten
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Recipe
- 1 blend sugar, flour, and salt in a microwave safe bowl.
- 2 gradually stir in milk.
- 3 microwave on high 5 to 7 minutes.
- 4 stir every 3 minutes until mixture is smooth and clear.
- 5 temper egg then combine.
- 6 microwave on high for 1 to 3 minutes.
- 7 stir every minute till thickened.
- 8 stir in butter and vanilla.
- 9 pour into serving dishes.
- 10 butterscotch pudding same as above except use brown sugar in place of sugar, and add 3 tbsp of butter instead of 2.
- 11 cream of rice pudding same as above only use 2 1/2 cups of milk instead of 2, and stir in 2 cups of cooked rice.
