- 4 tablespoons butter
- 4 cups milk
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2/3 cup flour
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
Recipe
- 1 melt butter in large pan over low heat.add milk and heat till milk is scalded.
- 2 add sugar, salt and flour and cook till thickened.
- 3 remove from heat.stir in vanilla and cool overnight.
- 4 serve with whipped topping.
