Rice Pudding Ii

Ingredients

  • Servings: 1
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup uncooked white rice
  • 2 cups white sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup raisins
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 cups milk

    Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 45 mins Ready Time: 50 mins

  • in a saucepan bring water to a boil. add rice and stir. reduce heat, cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
  • preheat oven to 325 degrees f (165 degrees c).
  • in a large bowl combine the cooked rice, sugar, eggs and salt. mix well. stir in flour, raisins and vanilla. stir in milk. pour into 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • bake in preheated oven 25 to 30 minutes, until lightly set.
