- 1 ounce cinnamon stick

- place the rice, sugar, evaporated milk, vanilla, cinnamon stick, and nutmeg into a slow cooker. cover, and cook on low for 1 1/2 hours, stirring occasionally. remove cinnamon stick, and serve warm.
