Homemade Peanut Butter Chocolate Pie

Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons cocoa
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 dash salt
- 2 cups milk
- 3 egg yolks, lightly beaten
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1/3 cup peanut butter
- 1 9 inch pie shell, baked
- 2 cups fat-free whipped topping
Recipe
- 1 combine ingredients through milk in a saucepan and cook, stirring constantly, over medium heat until bubbly;continue cooking and stirring another 2 minutes.
- 2 temper eggs by slowly adding a moderate amount of cooked mixture to them while stirring; return to saucepan; cook and stir over medium heat another 3 minutes.
- 3 remove from heat and stir in butter, vanilla and peanut butter; lay a sheet of plastic wrap on pudding surface and cool; pour into baked pie crust.
- 4 refrigerate until ready to serve, again using plastic wrap.
- 5 add whipped topping and serve.
