Jiffy Rice Pudding

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 4 cups milk
  • 1 (3 ounce) package of jello vanilla pudding mix
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 egg (beaten)
  • 1 cup minute rice
  • 1/4 cup raisins
  • 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg

Recipe

  • 1 gradually stir milk and egg into pudding mix in saucepan.
  • 2 add rice and raisins.
  • 3 stir over medium heat until mixture just comes to a boil.
  • 4 cool 5 minutes.
  • 5 pour into dessert dishes or serving bowl.
  • 6 sprinkle with cinnamon and nutmeg.
  • 7 serve warm.
  • 8 (for chilled pudding, place plastic wrap over the surface of the hot pudding and refrigerate for 1 hour. stir before serving).
