white velvet

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 pint heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 2 tablespoons cold water
  • 1 tablespoon unflavored gelatin
  • 1 pint sour cream

Recipe

    Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 10 mins Ready Time: 1 hr

  • in medium saucepan, heat cream over medium heat until form at edges. stir in sugar and salt. remove from heat and set aside.
  • sprinkle gelatin over cold water to soften. stir gelatin mixture into sour cream; then stir sour cream mixture into sweetened cream. pour into a small mold and chill in refrigerator until set.
