Peachy Bread Pudding

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • 4 cups day-old bread cubes
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1 (21 ounce) can comstock peach pie filling, divided

Recipe

  • 1 heat oven to 350 degrees.
  • 2 spread bread cubes in greased 9 inch square baking pan.
  • 3 whisk together eggs, milk, sugar and extract.
  • 4 stir in 1 cup peach filling.
  • 5 pour over bread cubes, pressing custard down into bread with back of spoon.
  • 6 bake 30-40 minutes until knife inserted near center comes out clean.
  • 7 heat remaining peach filling and spoon over warm pudding.
