Light Creme Caramel- Flan

Total Time: 50 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 40 mins

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2/3 cup water
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 1/3 cups nonfat milk

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 325°f combine sugar and water in a saucepan. bring to a boil, and cook without stirring until golden. pour into 6 ramekins.
  • 2 whisk eggs, vanilla, sugar and lukewarm milk in a bowl. pour mixture into ramekins.
  • 3 put ramekins in a roasting pan and add enough hot water to come halfway up the sides of the ramekins. bake for about 40-50 minutes.
  • 4 cool and chill in refrigerator for about 8 hours.
  • 5 turn out onto individual plates to serve.
