Grandma's Persimmon Pudding

Total Time: 45 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 12
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup persimmon pulp
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 cup nuts (optional)

Recipe

  • 1 for the syrup, put in baking pan and boil l minute.
  • 2 mix all batter ingredients together. pour batter over syrup in baking pan and bake for 30 minutes in 350 degree oven. serve with whipped cream.
