Mocha Creams

Total Time: 55 mins Preparation Time: 45 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 50 g dark chocolate
  • 300 ml cream
  • 3 teaspoons instant coffee granules
  • 1 tablespoon warm water
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup caster sugar
  • 1/3 cup scorched almonds

Recipe

  • 1 stir chocolate and 1/4 cup cream in a small saucepan over low heat unil smooth.
  • 2 divide among 4 serving glasses.
  • 3 swirl around to coat the sides.
  • 4 refrigerate.
  • 5 mix coffee with warm water until dissolved.
  • 6 cool.
  • 7 beat cream til soft peaks form.
  • 8 beat egg while til soft peaks form adding sugar 1 tablespoon at a time until sugar is dissolved.
  • 9 fold in nuts.
  • 10 divide cream mix among the 4 glasses.
  • 11 top with remaining nuts.
