Lemon Cake

Total Time: 55 mins Preparation Time: 25 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 (15 1/4 ounce) package lemon cake mix (betty crocker or duncan hines)
  • 1 (3 1/2 ounce) package instant lemon pudding mix
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 cup canola oil
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1/3 cup orange juice
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon canola oil

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • 2 mix together the first 5 ingredients.
  • 3 pour into a greased 10x13 pan.
  • 4 bake for 30-35 minutes.
  • 5 cool 10 minutes - no longer!
  • 6 while cooling, blend together last 3 ingredients until smooth.
  • 7 prick top of cake with fork tines (to allow glaze to penetrate the cake).
  • 8 pour glaze over in spoonfuls allowing it to soak inches.
