Grandma's Persimmon Pudding

- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup water
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup persimmon pulp
- 2 cups flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 cup nuts (optional)
Recipe
- 1 for the syrup, put in baking pan and boil l minute.
- 2 mix all batter ingredients together. pour batter over syrup in baking pan and bake for 30 minutes in 350 degree oven. serve with whipped cream.
