- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon cardamom
- pistachios or raisins or almonds

- 1 in a medium saucepan combine all ingredients and bring to a boil. lower heat to medium and cook, stirring constantly until desired consistency. can be served warm or cold. will thicken slightly when cooled.
